August 22nd
Trouble has been brewing in the area for weeks now. What with the assination of the local
governer and his top brass. Now it's turned out to be a renagade faction trying to take over
the island it's become of "international concern".
Being part of NATO's rapid reaction force we always expected to be the first to land, but due
to the obscure location of the island we didn't expect that we would be the ONLY people to land.
We have set up camp at a small town, hoping that our presence will go un-noticed. NATO command
thought it was best that we landed ASAP instead of waiting for reinforcements. I can't say I agree with them,
although the Indian fleet is closing in and should arrive at about 0600 local time. With some
yankie carrier fleet arriving in 2 days.
If we can go tonight without being noticed, then we will be fine, although satellite recon
indicates several armoured patrols heading in our general direction.

After a successful landing camp is now setup. Reinforcements will arrive at 0600. Inteligence
shows several patrols heading towards our position. ETA: tonight. We must hold this
town and camp until tomorrow morning at all costs.
This is what you have been trained for, keep alert.
Objectives
Defend La Passagne.
Excellent job lads, that attack was heavier than first antipated, and you
all worked well to hold the town. Reinforcements will be landing tomorrow, you can
put your feet up then.
We have lost La Passagne, now the NATO fleets have no place to land and the enemy
have been alerted to our presence.
