As part of a rapid reaction force we are the lucky sods who get to attack the main land first. We will be dropped onto the beach where we can push up to attack Morton.

Looking at the briefing notes it looks awfully like a small barracks on the end of the beach, although there was no mention of this. I smell something fishy and I think the 'piece of cake' occupation will back-fire.

It doesn't require a genious to know that this attack was going to happen, it was just a matter of time. Plus they pick the most obvious place to land - I think this is going to get sticky.

Advance from the beach head up to the town of Morton and eliminate all enemy forces.

Once established defend from any counter attack and prevent a spotted tank column from passing through the town.

Objectives

Advance up the beach head.

Secure Morton.

Destroy tank column.

Mission Successful

We now have a secure foot-hold into the main land. This will make way for the landing of the rest of our forces for the main advance.

Congratulations.

Mission Failed

You did not manage to stop the tank column from passing through. They will have been able to pass on the message that we have invaded and will probably be back before we can get the rest of our troops in.
